Masters in Biblical Spiritual Formation and Discipleship from Moody Theological Seminary; 20-Hour TESOL Certificate from International Open Academy

Hometown: Fishers, Indiana

Family: I have one younger brother, two parents, and one sweet golden retriever who all live in Indianapolis.

Why did you come to teach at PTCS?

I first volunteered at PTCS on a college mission trip years before I came to work at PTCS and fell in love with the mission and organization. When I found out about a position opening, I was eager to join. As I've worked here, I've seen how PTCS is committed to each child growing holistically. I love that it's a place where we get to talk about Christ freely and study the Bible together. The staff is truly a team who is devoted to each and every student individually.

What do you enjoy most about teaching?

I enjoy seeing student's growth. They truly absorb so much and are so eager and willing to learn. I love seeing their lightbulb moments.

What are your favorite moments with students?

My favorite moments with students are when I get to connect with them one-on-one, when I get to know them and their stories more. Each of them has so much to offer to the world, and it is awesome to see how God is working in their lives.
